It's going to be very difficult for K McK to manage the transition to the PL. He has developed such a tight bond between the players and they will all want to take their chance at the higher level. No doubt K McK will want to give them that chance. But at the same time, there will be the need to strengthen. It will require all of K McK's man-management skills to integrate the new players without disappointing those who have got us this far. But if anyone can do this, I reckon he can. Watch this space! |

K McK will pick his best team just like any other match. That's his way, and he won't be experimenting with anything new, least of all replacing the goalkeeper. If we indeed are well out of sight with 10 minutes remaining, then some of the more fringe players may get a chance, but by then we may already have seen some of the "normal" substitutions around the 65-minute mark, so there won't be that many options available. I don't expect this to be anything other than a tough contest and hope we come out of it on the right side. McK knows best and I have complete faith in his judgement. |

Mustn't let our guard slip againsts Huddersfield, who can go all out without a care. But we have K McK, who won't let that happen. We were excellent tonight, every single man. For all their possession, Cov didn't threaten us all that much, and we had at least as many close calls as they did, including Broadhead's shot that hit the bar. Our defending has improved, even though that area still gives me the jitters sometimes. Let's hope for a great party Saturday. COYsuperB! |

But assuming we don't lose to Coventry now we must endure the stress of getting the right result at home to Huddersfield, whatever that turns out to be, draw or win, and hoping Leeds might slip up against Soton (unlikely).
