I do like him, he tries to get under the skin of the places he visits and highlights issues around climate change, local politics, historic injustices.
Those redwoods on tonight's programme were jaw dropping. I felt sick just watching him on pulleys going up, no way I could have done that. |

There was an interview a few weeks ago with his wife and her love and devotion for Rob was incredibly heartwarming. Goes without saying all his family and friends will be devastated by his passing.

It also leaves him a convicted felon, albeit a pardoned convicted felon which fingers crossed resonates with independent voters who will decide who wins in November. |

Reading your post reminds me of my brief time teaching and dealing with bickering kids at breaktime.
BL: Your behaviour is totally unacceptable and I won't tolerate it in the playground.
(To older kid) - You should know better and think about the example you are setting to the younger pupils.
(To younger kid) - And you, you are just behaving like a 5 year old.
Younger kid: But, but...but I am 5.
(To younger kid) - Exactly.

I've had quite a few Conservative party and Rishi Sunak tweets in my timeline on Twitter - which makes me wonder whether they are bothering to target the voters?
Cummings was the master at that during the Brexit campaign -- ensuring ads accurately targeted people. I've even had a couple for Tory candidates in areas I don't live in so couldn't vote for them even if I had had a lobotomy. |

I fcked up a few years back - exchange arranged for Thursday morning - so on the Tuesday I transferred the cash to the solicitors account - nice and early and saved the £20 fee for a chaps same day payment.
Only on the Thursday it's not turned up. So I call the bank to do it by Chaps instead - they said there's no money to transfer. I say just cancel the instructions I gave Tuesday and I'll pay the £20 for the transfer.
So they cancel it - but the money is basically in the banking system for another 24 hours before it gets returned.
I had to pay £250 to the guy I am buying off and the whole chain was delayed by 24 hours.
Never been a fan of banks. |

He published Norman Bettison's autobiography (no one else would touch it) a few years back.
I don't subscribe to cancel culture - but giving a voice to a scumy c**nt like Bettison does make Dale a bit of a w*nker in my book. |

Can't believe people can't see that it's offside tbh.
But as you say, no one complained - and it was for me, level in old terms. That VAR would call it offside shows how much VAR is now interfering when it is making rulings on situations like this when the original call wasn't remotely controversial at the time. |
