If true that’s very interesting. Their ‘better’ players from this season - Sara, Rowe, Sainz are relatively-speaking on much lower wages than the laughable players that dumped them out of the Prem. To keep them happy they’ll need to pay them wages the club can no longer afford, or they’ll be off so that the club can at least get some money in the door. Dark, dark times ahead up the A140. |

To be fair, the four players he has named have all played their last game in a Norwich shirt so it’s a lovely little farewell tribute from him. |

Wonder how many fans of other teams are looking at their former ‘bang average’ players - Morsy, Luongo, Burns, Chaplin, Hirst etc. see their success but would point blank refuse to have them back at their club because of a frankly ridiculous inability to recognise that players can improve and develop under different coaches and environments…… Not many at all would be my guess. |

You can’t comprehend that a lad who left here aged 22, having played in those dark times under McCarthy, Hurst, Lambert and Cook may have improved in quality since he left here, to the point that he may now be able to contribute far more as a player than he did and therefore have increased in value?? How bizarre. |

Excellent as it is, but imagine if Ed, or anybody else far more talented than I, could adapt it for 30,000 Town fans to sing. “I found a team….” Be great to have a song that’s totally unique. |

Looks like City Elite was established the same year the club started celebrating its history. |

Sunday evening couldn’t have gone any better. “I fancy binge-watching Downton again, and maybe Bridgerton. Do you mind”? “You crack on. I’m sure there will be something I can find to watch on my phone”. Reckon I’ve got at least three more weeks of this. Get in!! |

The board must wonder what on earth to do for the best. On one hand the ‘fans’ bay for the head of the manager, owner, canteen manager at every defeat, yet on the other are completely devoid of any sense of ambition, claiming ‘success’ is embarrassingly bombing out of the Prem, losing an FA Cup and a UEFA third round game while squeaking ‘15!!!’ at the rear bumper of their bigger neighbours as they disappear over the horizon. If the fanbase don’t aspire to anything like genuine achievement, how can they place such demands on the management? |

He doesn’t need to worry. Even if we get humped every week, publicly humiliated for the whole world to see, and plummet back down to the Championship we can still claim the season to be one of our best ever and part of a period of total dominance. |

That goal epitomises what we became as the season progressed. Having been outplayed for quite a bit of the game, 2-2 would have been a very good result. With 97 minutes on the clock the ball is in Hladky’s hands. 15 seconds later when Leif has the ball we have 5 players in the box and 3 more making ground to attack the edge of the box. You want an example of the mentality that got us promoted, that was it right there. |

I did a ‘Date Range’ search yesterday from 11th Feb 2024 (after the West Brom draw) to the end of the season, so would probably be the same as the period you’re talking about. Was very pleasantly surprised at the result. Certainly didn’t feel that dominant at the time! [Post edited 5 May 23:46]

It would be easy to take the view that we can’t compete with the likes of Fulham for players. Financially maybe not. But every player will now know the massive benefit of playing under KM and the undoubted improvement they will see in their game. Motivated players will come here. If it’s all about the money, they can go elsewhere. |

It’s the complete lack of self-awareness that I find hilarious. In one breath we’ll get flogged every week and crash and burn into a humiliating mess in the Prem. In the next breath they laud their ‘decades of success’ which consisted of……. getting flogged every week and crashing and burning into a humiliating mess in the Prem. If only some of them were brave enough to leave the county and see the levels of pity with which they are universally viewed outside of Norfolk. Might gain a fair bit of much needed reality and humility. |
