But I find myself agreeing with his defensive comment, we certainly need at least two quality premier defenders if we hope to stay in this league. I'm afraid our current incumbents would ship goals at an alarming rate facing premier strikers. |

A bit of a misleading headline, it's the end of the season, of course Omari would be going back!
Going forward I sincerely hope KM addresses our centre of defence frailties, unfortunately, there's just no way Wolfy, Burgess or Edmundson are close to PL standard. For me this is the area we needed to address after getting promoted from Div1.
As harsh as it may seem, the number of goals we shipped in the Championship should be an indicator of things to come if we stick with what we have. |

Disappointed we didn't get the 3 points, Vas saved our bacon with 2 great saves against Saints, but my oh my what a couple of clangers tonight. Their first goal was as stupid a pass as it gets, passing to Morsy in that position with better options wide was ridiculous. The third was also unbelievably poor, not holding onto what was an easy take. Should have been sitting second in the table tonight, but heaven forbid we make it easy for ourselves LOL. We now need at least a point at Coventry to keep promotion in our hands, whereas without just one of those clangers tonight a result at Coventry wouldn't have been a must.

A result like this has been coming all season, our midfield and strikers have worked miracles all season to pull us out of the excrement that is our central defence!
We struggled to contain league 1 opposition, so why would we expect them to be any better in the championship?
Far be it from me to criticise KM but to not get better CBs over the close season and January could come back to haunt us, and the goal difference backs this up unfortunately! |

The latest worrying trait being our inept performances in the first half!
I’ve said it before the season started and I have seen nothing to suggest that our centre backs are not championship standard.
Second half we were a different side, yet again!
Whatever KM says at HT, he should say it before Kickoff!
