5 years is a hell of a long time and things can change very quickly. It’s the modern world of football where any manager is potentially probably only 10-15 games from the sack if things go wrong. Him being settled and happy has zero to do with whether he might get the boot at some point.
FWIW he clearly has massive credit in the bank, but he doesn’t have 5 years worth! |

Alan Nixon reported a few weeks back that Saints have an obligation to buy him for 15 million if they get promoted and that we were ready to step in if they didn’t go up.

Logic suggests that they will get a vote as they will be directly impacted by the outcome. So I’d imagine that the 3 relegated clubs won’t have a vote. Suspect the meeting will take place once the PL shares have transferred |

If he's struggled to get regular game time with 2 Championship sides I'm not sure why you would make him a permanent signing for the Premier League. He came up with some massive moments for us, but not sure he did enough on a regular basis to justify having him back |

That seems completely fair. I don’t like the idea that people get penalised if they often use the ticket exchange. There’s an elderly chap who sits in front of me who probably gets to about 50% of the games, but he’s been going for years when to be blunt the Club was desperate for anyone who was prepared to buy one.
This system would work perfectly for someone like him. The club would no doubt resell his ticket at the higher match day price, so they don’t lose out |

Keep Walton. I wouldn’t be in a rush to get another keeper. The two we have are fine.
Release Jackson. Done a decent job for us but really should be nowhere near the squad moving forwards.

Suspect we'll need to adapt our style of play a bit which may reduce the amount we play out from the back. That will bring Walton back into the equation to start as personally I think he's much better keeper than Vas and that may be more important than their respective ability with the ball at their feet |

Problem with PL know how is that it comes with PL wages. The squad is unbelievably tight and we don’t want to undermine that.
Personally I’d prefer to sign top end Championship players whose salary expectations will hopefully be in line with what others are earning |

Speaking as a ST holder but non member, I’m not expecting to be able to get tickets for any away game next season, unless Sky gives us some ridiculous start time for a long distance trip and even then I’m not confident.
Presumably existing members will get some form of priority in terms of points over new ones? It seems fair enough that they should but it wouldn’t be much encouragement for anyone thinking of signing up for the first time |

I think Al Hamadi would benefit from a loan. He's gone from League 2 to the edge of the Premier League in 4 months. It's a meteoric rise. I think a season in the Championship would do him a world of good |
