No Inquiry Request - Ipswich Town News
Chief Executive Derek Bowden has revealed that the Blues have not been asked to supply any information regarding transfers to Lord Stevens's inquiry into corruption in football.
Earlier today the former commissioner of the Metropolitan Police extended his inquiry by two months in order to further investigate 39 transfers involved eight Premiership clubs made between 1st January 2004 and 31st January 2006.
Bowden told the club site that none of these involved Town: "We have not had any requests to supply information regarding transfers from or to this football club."
