Brittain at Luton - Ipswich Town News
Released midfielder Martin Brittain has joined Luton Town on trial. The former Newcastle United man will hope to win a place alongside former team-mate Darren Currie in Kevin Blackwell's squad.
Currie joined Hatters on a two-year deal earlier this week.
Brittain made only one substitute appearance for the Blues in his year at Portman Road, spending much of his spell on loan at Yeovil. The 22-year-old winger failed to win a permanent deal at Huish Park.
Another released Town player, academy defender Russell Short, spent time on trial at Kenilworth Road towards the end of last season.
