Trio Set for Caps - Ipswich Town News

Owen Garvan, Chris Casement and Ronan Murray are all likely to be in international action later today. Garvan has been named in the Republic of Ireland U21 side facing Turkey in a 2011 UEFA Championship qualifier in Cork this evening and will win his 10th U21 cap.

Casement is a likely starter for the Northern Irish U21s as they take on Ukraine in a friendly at Portadown (Sky Sports One, 7.30pm). The central defender, currently on loan at Wycombe, will win his 14th U21 cap.

Academy striker Murray will win his first Republic of Ireland U19 cap if he is involved in this afternoon's friendly in Slovakia. The Irish youngsters take on the same opposition again on Thursday.

Gareth McAuley, Alex Bruce and Veliche Shumulikoski are all still away with the Northern Irish, Republic of Ireland and Macedonia squads ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia, Italy and Holland respectively.

Giovani Dos Santos was withdrawn from the Mexico squad travelling to Honduras yesterday.

Irish U21s: Shane Redmond (Eastwood Town), Brendan Moloney (Nottingham Forest), Eddie Nolan (Preston North End), Darren Dennehy (Cardiff City), Ian Bermingham (Shamrock Rovers), Stephen Gleeson (Wolves), David Meyler (Sunderland), Owen Garvan (Ipswich Town), Alan Judge (Plymouth Argyle), Cillian Sheridan (Celtic/Motherwell), Jay O'Shea (Galway United).
