Finidi Looking the Real Deal - Ipswich Town News
It does appear that Finidi George is the Spanish-based player that Town are targeting, although the deal seems to be far from done.
The Nigerian has yet to agree personal terms with Town, but a fee does seem to have been agreed between the two clubs as stated in earlier reports.
Finidi is a winger of the speedy variety and can complete the 100m in less than 11 seconds. He is also known for his outrageous goal celebrations and has on occasions sported a cowboy hat thrown to him from the crowd.
Previously with Ajax, Finidi would be joining an old team-mate at Portman Road. Martijn Reuser was at Ajax at the same time as the Nigerian. Finidi won a European Cup winner's medal in 1995.
