Academy midfielder Jonny Leddy picked up his seventh Republic of Ireland U17 cap as his side lost their second European Championship elite stage qualifying group game 2-1 to hosts Holland in Schijndel yesterday.
The result means that the Irish youngsters, who were defeated 1-0 by Serbia in their opening game, now have no chance of qualifying for the finals in Slovenia in May
Leddy and team-mates complete their group games with a match against the Albanians in Venray on Tuesday.
