Loanees in Action - Ipswich Town News
Town's numerous loanees were in action yesterday with Richard Logan again on the scoresheet for Torquay.
Logan scored an equaliser on 83 as the Gulls drew 1-1 with Orient.
Richard Naylor again started for Millwall and was substituted after 67 minutes as the Lions drew 2-each with Walsall.
Gary Croft was also substituted, this time on 65 as Wigan lost 2-1 to Blackpool. On loan Town keeper James Pullen was on the Seasiders' bench.
Wayne Brown, now on a spell at Watford has repeated his desire to make a permanent move from Portman Road. Last month he told TWTD that as he is sixth choice centre-half at Town a move away is necessary. The spell at Watford could see him move to Vicarage Road permanently or at least put him in the shop window.
Amir Karic was also involved in a match this weekend. His NK Maribor side beat Ukrainian team Vorskla Paltova 2-0 in a friendly. Karic was substituted after 78 minutes.
