Finidi in Action - Ipswich Town News
Finidi George and Nigeria are in action this evening in the African Nations' Cup quarter-final against bogey side Ghana in Bamako, the capital of Mali.
This will be their second meeting in eight months, Nigeria winning a crucial World Cup qualifier back in June. Despite the 'derby' history of Nigeria-Ghana games Nigeria coach Amodou Shuaibu says he is treating it like any other game: "Ghana being one of the most formidable opponents in this competition is good for us; the bigger the better. They are just another team that we have to play. I don't want to start talking about jinxes or scores to settle."
The match is live on Eurosport at 7pm with highlights on BBC2 at 12.50.
