Bristol City and Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen on Town right-back Jordan Spence, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Spence, 26, joined the Blues in January having been a free agent after his release by the MK Dons last summer and having spent time on trial at Playford Road and with a number of other Championship clubs earlier in the season.
Since signing a short-term contract to the end of the season Spence has established himself in the Town starting line-up and has now made 16 starts.
Blues boss Mick McCarthy has said he has been impressed with the former West Ham trainee’s performances and will talk to him and his agent at the end of the season.
Spence has similarly said he has enjoyed his time at Town and would like to stay, most recently at Saturday’s Player Awards Evening.
However, according to HITC Sport, Town face competition for the former England U21 international full-back’s signature from Sunday’s final day opponents Forest and the Robins, where Spence previously spent two spells on loan during 2010/11 and 2011/12.
