Hermann Taking Time - Ipswich Town News

Hermann Hreidarsson is taking time to think over his future after talking to West Brom yesterday. Reports in the Midlands claim the agreed fee is £3.5 million while it is expected that the Icelander would have to take a pay-cut to move to the Hawthorns.

The 28-year-old says: "Nothing has been decided yet. I want to talk things over with my wife and will talk to West Bromwich again and then make my decision."

Reports elsewhere claim that Hreidarsson is on £18,000 a week, however, we'd be surprised if that was the case.

WBA chief exective Brendan Batson says things are going well, but that the deal could take a little while to complete: "There is a lot of talking to be done before anything is concluded, but we have made progress.

"He is a player identified by Gary, who has good experience at the level we are now playing at."
