I think his agent has had the club against a rock and a hard place and if reports are true that we are the highest paying team for a manager doesn’t feel right for our status. |

As much as we loved our success this season … I have to say watching Leeds pull your pants down in a play off semi final was special…. Of course we gave realistic expectations and understand the gulf, but let’s hope if we go down we don’t f@ck the parachute payments like you have. |

It feels really strange just a couple of weeks after arguably our best season for several decades to be worrying about our manager leaving the team…
I am sure I am wrong but genuinely cannot remember a team promoted to the Premiership not seeing it through with their promotion winning manager - I am sure I am wrong but it just doesn’t feel normal or correct. |

I very much remember similar comments and bitterness at end of last season about the Championship being a much harder division and can’t wait for the bubble to burst and watch Ipswich fighting a relegation battle..
It just didn’t do that. Must be heartbreaking watching your neighbours sail past your parachute payments finishing 23 points ahead of you.
It is a much greater achievement to hit 96 points and just 6 losses in what was the toughest championship and 3 massive relegated sides competing.
Let’s see what happens to their fan base over next few years of what looks like a downward spiral for the yellows. |

Let’s be honest. Over 2 legs with Burns back and possibly Hirst you would have to fancy us to win it.
Yes they won today, but if their performance of the season against our worst performance of the season scraps a 1-0 win - over 2 legs would have to be put right. |

Cast your mind back to last Season and winning promotion.
The comments at the time - “Piss Poor League” … “Easy 6 Points” …”Huge step up which they won’t adapt too”.
Well after a few months in it hasn’t really worked out for them. Must be absolute heartbreaking to see a team who couldn’t even win the league create such a gulf in class and direction.
Having to park the bussagainst your division 1 neighbours…. Must be painful to watch unfold and why clinging on to 14 years rubbish. If we look at history which they clearly do we have some and if we look at the present we are the bigger and better club. Norwich only going one way with their style of football. Assume it is a Wagner In Day though. 😂 |

This is our time to be dominant over Norwich which we quite clearly are. Forget the result and just look at the squads, style of football, wage bill, crowds &invstement.
For the first time in many years we are the better club going places and their performance reminds me of a Ipswich performance 15 years ago … very poor quality and delighted to rescue a point against their superior neighbours.
The result in isolation is no reflection on the gulf and they know it. |

So Massimo and Brandon both suspended for Boro after bookings on Saturday.
Cynical side of me says calculated decision by Williams which was a crazy and pointless lunge after coming on as a sub?
More worringly is Morsey being 2 cards away from suspension and Wes Burns just 1.

Just cannot imagine how they are feeling and such an Ipswich of the past mess up from them.
To make matters worse their points total would win them the league in most seasons. To get caught by Ipswich who have been on a run of 14 wins including 4 incredibly hard away games is just ridiculous. This end of the season is simply unique and not one we will probably see for a long time. Still can’t believe it is our Ipswich who was been on this mental run of form at the right time.
Nearly as hard to believe as being 4-0 up in a tense must win game after 20 minutes yesterday. Football. 😂 |

I think for us to have any realistic chance of signing him, we will need Leicester to stay in the Premiership. Can’t see a championship side selling him to a rival. |

Ipswich have just recorded a haul of 25 points from a possible 27. We remain unbeaten in 10 conceding just 1 goal….
Cannot believe anyone can say anything than a “remarkable period of form”.
To get a good away point when a team above us lose a home banker is nothing short than points gained and adds to this remarkable Easter weekend.
Please can anyone with any sense of negativity please have a very hard look at yourself and I have a sneaking suspicion you would have taken the fact we have promotion in our own hands back in January.
Whilst our genuine support has been immense, those who perhaps don’t go to games and sit on social media remain an absolute thorn in our side.
Lots of twists and turns yet. |
