Was there a game you enjoyed where we lost?
at 21:02 2 Jun 2024

I was thinking back to Huddersfield on the last day of the season and how they seemed to sing with us about denying Leeds promotion. I then got curious, has there ever been a game that we've played, and lost, but you remember thoroughly enjoying?

Whether it denied someone else, was a feast of football, or you had great things going on away from footy - I think its an interesting question to mull over, especially as we're probably going to lose more than 6 times in the coming season.

Parott came to the right club at the wrong time with us. Great to see him do well in the Netherlands.

Always did well on FM2022? as well

As an alternative, try this

I watched it religiously in the beginning and it became a chore to watch. From a technical point of view it gets REALLY jarring and obvious later on as the availability of actors leaves you with a bunch of episodes in a row that focusses on one or two characters together for an episode, then the next episode is of one or 2 other characters (and so on) but over the same timespan as the other episodes. I butchered that explanation but imagine a season that spans 2 or 3 days and of the 20 or so episodes it is just a profile of what a very small subset of the ensemble has done in that time, one after the other, while the story arc is almost stood still.

It has good moments, but since The Last Of Us came out (almost perfect) it really shows how shabby of a show it is in parts.

TLDR: Watch 'The Last of Us' instead, it is a way better story and actually makes zombies quite fast, agile and scary rather than a shambling crowd.

Any thoughts on a new song for Labour?

For when they have to sit on both sides of commons because they get over 450 seats

If we got him for free, with McKenna developing him? He'd be one hell of a signing.

Peace out, arse faces
at 12:45 1 Jun 2024

Probably just finished the most gruelling year of my work and study life with 4 projects written in the same week, due on the same day.

I am now off for a week in the New Forrest and am going to eat food at a restaurant that only sources ingredients within 25 miles of the place. (Was recently on the BBC as it happens: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000tzjp )

Figured in keeping with not sniping or calling people names I would call you all arse faces while making a "LOOK AT ME" post.

Peak TWTDing

Take care dearies.

I am going. Not sure what to expect but he's been very kind to Ipswich over the years and I think he'll be charming and a laugh.

Could you imagine the Tories getting just 66 seats? Granted, labour are hardly recognisable either as they are filling the gap in the center that most 'reasonable' tories used to occupy.

What is interesting to ponder if this poll comes close, is how many of those MPs will be the centrist back benchers and how many will be the Johnson era of staunch right groovy gangbangers.

A big part of it was Chambers. I remember he started that season like a champ and then he suddenly lost his physical ability over the course of 2 or 3 games.

To be fair, comments like these aren't exactly indicative of change and goodwill either.

I suspect you still have designs on my TWTD status after running "Inspector of the day". Seems as I live up the road from you I am always on tenta hooks these days.

I think it is good. Most of the time when you see Ashton it is something of interest or relevance. I would take seeing him any day over one of Evans' stooges peddling lines of bullsht to keep the pitchforks at bay.

Add another 2m to Broja
https://therealefl.co.uk/2024/05/31/ipswich-town-look-to-make-50-million-double-

Apparently we're lining up 50m for the pair of Broja and Hutch!

We're also supposedly in for Newcastle's winger, Miguel Almiron. 17m is mentioned in the article

It hasn't really worked too well for Watford, I would argue that it actually damaged their momentum in a huge way.

I have to admit, your examples were oddly specific if you weren't trying to snipe at people in particular. Just because you're not attaching a name it doesn't make it any less obvious.
