16:15 is a random kick off time. Anyone going to be watching?
Nothing against Notlob particularly, arguably them going up makes Norwich’s chances of staying up a bit harder next year you might think, but got to be team Oxford with Gregory and Kyle there Shirley? Quite like Des Buckingham’s story as well and that he’s kept them up there since Manning binned them at the first opportunity.

I met a friend of a friend at the cricket recently & I quickly discovered he was from Bolton. Therefore, I couldn't resist whispering the words "Barry Knight" to him. Turned out he was at the game as well.
My annoyance with Bolton’s s-housing in 2000 and burying us like a bone in the back yard 4-0 in 2002 has long since melted away. They’re ok.
Proper, historic football club who’ve been through the mill to near oblivion even more than ourselves. They, as a club, are strong enough to do well in the Championship, finished third, so deserve to go up. I wish them well.

Yeah that’s fair. Finished 10 points above Oxford, have some decent players and Ian Evatt certainly seems to have something about him as a manager when you consider his record. Wouldn’t surprise me to see them safe next year if they do the business today. As you say that’s a club that’s been through some dross.

Similar, in that when i visited a client I was introduced to someone who was a Bolton supporter.
I'd never met him before, but asked for his thoughts about Barry Knight. What followed was a 2-3 minute tirade with language that should never be used in a professional environment.
It was superb. 20+ years on and they're still not over it.

"Barry Knight saved my life" by the Fun Lovin Criminals was one of my favourite songs of the 90s.

Bolton in pieces. Oxford are far better in every department. Faster, stronger, more decisive, better anticipation. I’m surprised by that. I thought Bolton would offer a lot more, but it looks like they’ve forgotten to turn up.
This is reminding me of bad days in league 1, Oxford absolutely sh1thousing Bolton who are stuck passing the ball in front of the defence and then hit twice on the break.
But, since it’s Bolton, can’t say I’m too bothered.

Bolton being far too frantic in trying to get the ball back when they lose it - just charging straight into Oxford's players and giving them an easy option to hit the deck.
One of those strange games where the team with the smaller share of possession looks much more comfortable.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Yes, don’t think the keeper has had to save anything at all. A thoroughly deserved win.
Distinct lack of drama in this year’s play-offs though which is a shame.
