Garvan Out - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Owen Garvan is out of Saturday's home game with Colchester United. Better news for the Blues is that Sylvain Legwinski should be fit after limping off at half-time during Tuesday's 1-0 FA Cup victory over Chester City.
Garvan missed the cup tie due to a foot injury which Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site will also see him absent from the U's game: "Owen has had a scan and it's shown he has some soft tissue bruising but there's no major damage.
"He's improving but not quick enough for him to be considered for Saturday."
Legwinski picked up a dead leg but is expected to be fine for the visit of Geraint Williams's men.
