Palace Striker Linked - Ipswich Town News

Town are reported to be amongst a number of Championship clubs eyeing Crystal Palace striker Fraizer Campbell.

According to the Daily Mirror, Campbell has been made available this month with the Blues, Hull City, QPR and Wolves all interested in signing the 28-year-old former Cardiff, Sunderland and Manchester United frontman, who has also spent time on loan with the Tigers and Tottenham.

Town making a move for Campbell seems unlikely with boss Mick McCarthy having said he is happy with his striking options with Luke Varney having recently signed a deal to the end of the season after recovering from his achilles injury.

Meanwhile former Blues loanee Jordan Graham is facing a long spell on the sidelines after tearing a cruciate ligament. The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for Wolves, having joined them from Aston Villa a year ago.
