AaB's Jepsen Confident - Ipswich Town News
AaB Aalborg full-back Allan K Jepsen was in confident mood after his side's 1-0 win over Town last night. The former Hamburg man said that on that performance he would be confident his side could do well in the English leagues.
Jepsen, one of the stars of the AaB side, told TWTD: "If Ipswich play like that every week then I think we would do well in the English Premiership or the First Division.
"Ipswich looked tired which was not surprising as they had only just started their pre-season training whereas our first game is only ten days away.
The Danish B international wished former team-mate Thomas Gaardsøe well for the season ahead.
The Town squad flew back to Farum after the game where they are staying at a hotel which is part of the Copenhagen club's stadium complex.
Town's players are impressed with the facilities, one telling TWTD that it was two-minute walk from his room to the pitch while the swimming facilities were also praised.
The Blues face Farum Boldklub on Thursday night with the players who featured less against Aalborg likely to be more involved.
