Bent Sets Target - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent has set himself a target of 25 goals for the new season. Bent surpassed his target of 15 last year, eventually ending up second top scorer on 17 behind Pablo Couñago who notched one more.
Bent told the club site: "I am looking at reaching 25 next season. That is what I will be aiming for because I want to play my part in helping Ipswich Town get back in the Premiership.
"I know I still have a lot to learn and there is plenty of room for improvement but working with Joe Royle, Willie and Mogga can only help me."
Last week Bent signed a new contract which will keep him at Portman Road until June 2006.
