Young Irish central defender Gerard Nash is three weeks away from a return to action after a cartilage operation. Nash, 18, has seen his time at Town blighted by injuries and has twice required cruciate ligament surgery.
Nash told the club site: "Everything is going really well and I should be back playing in three weeks.
"It was only a minor operation and the specialist said I would be out for six weeks. I've had half of that and there are no problems."
This latest surgery was not related to his ligament problems in any way and the Dubliner will hope to get back into U18 and reserves action during the remainder of the season.
Nash made his senior debut in last season's 6-1 home win over Burnley.
