| Forum Reply | Twice I've given up my season ticket. at 17:10 19 May 2024
Isn't so annoying when you've been there through thick and thin, and the fair weather fans take your place. We never needed to get a season ticket, although we went to almost every match, then we got into the Premier League 24 years ago. We couldn't get a ticket to the playoff semi-final, but at least we got tickets to Wembley, then we were in the ballot the first year of the premier league. We saw Man Utd at home, so it wasn't too bad. Then I moved away for University so did a bit of a tour of the away grounds up north, then I moved out of the country, and came back for 3 years when I was broke, having a baby, and Ipswich weren't worth the effort to travel from London, then I moved away again. Now I visit every year and try to fit in a match with my Dad who is a season ticket holder since relegation from the Premier League last time. In league one we got tickets for my son and daughter, this season only I could get a ticket and I wonder if it will be possible at all this coming season. |

I would like to think that he's on holiday with his family without his phon. Most likely he has contact with the club, but in no reality should he come out and make a statement while he's away. I would love for him to sign a new contract as a statement of intent as the first order of business when he gets back from a well-earned break. |

Name one male manager from women's football who has been a good manager in the men's game. Is it sexist that male managers have not been successful in the male game? |

We should respect him enough to give him the benefit of the doubt, let's not wet the bed over it! |

I'm a fan, but I didn't like the Norwich coach welcome. It wasn't the first home game or the last home game or a cup final! |
| Forum Thread | No mention of Town TV from Mark Ashton in his interview... at 13:54 17 May 2024
...although he did mention that they were hiring for the media team. If I can't watch live matches, I'm not going to renew my Town TV subscription. I'd like to know the details as a foreign-based fan. |

That's a sad reflection on the state of affairs. Where was McKenna on that list? He's off it now of course. |

Leeds and Southampton have got some fantastic players that I wouldn't mind us going in for, so preferably West Brom win. Southampton Vs Leeds would be the best final. I honestly don't care who gets promoted. Leeds really did a number on us this season, but last season we struggled against Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth, but look how we've just blitzed past them, so I wouldn't even be that worried about playing Leeds next season. The thing we can count on is that we progress faster than teams around us. Our rise is inevitable even if it takes time. |

Will he get sacked in the morning if that happens? |
| Forum Reply | Wagner sacked..... (n/t) at 11:03 17 May 2024
He got 4 points off of us and not only stayed up, but got into the playoffs, so surely he met his brief? I think this a Paul Cook situation, you could give the manager more time, but if there is a difference in opinion between the director of football and the manager, it's best to move on. |
| Forum Reply | Oh no. We've lost the twitter war at 08:14 17 May 2024
Follower on Twitter is all the counts, not the league you are playing in, where you finish in the table, how much you have won in your history, or how many England managers you produce. You know what I do when I've clearly got nothing to boast about? I keep my mouth shut. |
| Forum Reply | Angus Gunn at 08:12 17 May 2024
He's good enough for a mid-table Championship side. He'll make some decent saves and make some poor errors. Compare that to Hladky who made about 3 terrible errors, 2 led to goals and one he made up for it with an incredible save. Did you also notice Norwich trying to play it out from the back? It looked pretty decent until they shied away from the ball and were outmuscled by multiple different Leeds players. |
| Forum Reply | Perfect end to a perfect season... at 08:08 17 May 2024
It would have been a travesty for them to go up as peers with us. Leeds played really well, but Norwich had a hand in every goal apart from the first one where Gunn didn't get a hand anywhere near it. They have a few decent players and a decent mid-table to playoff manager. |
| Forum Reply | How wrong would it be to place a bet on Norwich? at 17:07 16 May 2024
If Norwich do go up it would make a bit of a mockery of the league. It doesn't lessen our achievement, but it would tarnish it that a team that was so much worse over the entire season would be getting the same reward for the work over the season. I also feel like a lot of Norwich fans would be relieved if they got knocked out. They aren't confident that they will do well in the Prem after their recent performances when they have been there. I would have been devastated if we didn't make it and I would be a bit surprised if we don't stay up next season. |
