Can't wait until someone from the Bristol City forum sees that. I reckon it's got to be worth at least another 10 pages on their 94 page - The Office:Ipswich Town thread
I think most professions tend to develop their own phraseology that then comes out in general talk. E.g McKenna uses a lot of 'coach speak' and the increased use of technical coaching terms in press conferences by lots of managers has drawn the ire of some of the old and bold ex-player pundits.
Maybe one of the reasons is that the most vocal of the owners when they took over - Berke, Mark Detmer and Brett Johnson actually now own very little of the club (and didn't own a huge amount when they took over).
I think if you did a straw poll of Utd fans whether he'd be here next season or not (not whether they want him to be) it would have been more like 80/20 Go/Stay so the article does suggest it's much more in the balance than it might seem like from the outside.
I think El-Mizouni wrote a similar post at the end of his first loan at Orient but then returned for the next season. It might be unlikely that Omari returns here but I don't think his Instagram post is a definitive bit of evidence towards that. Just seems to be genuine message of thanks and the right time to do it is now.
Don't think he was away for any longer than the Vegas lot. Believe him and Morsy went to Dubai instead.
From Harry's post it sounded like he might have got lucky with the appointment being done so soon. It could well be that both were initially planned for after the play-off final in case we were in those.
How much would it actually change the atmosphere/experience in the SBR Lower? Seating isn't enforced currently - appreciate it would change the space, etc but it's not a return to an open terrace is it?
This is the Brentford policy which gives plenty of options for ST holders to ensure their seat isn't left empty. Pretty good results for occupancy as a result of it.
He may well be off but that post is a really good example of confirmation bias. Some reading it as him saying farewell to the club others reading it as him saying thank you to his family for supporting him. It could easily be either.
The advantages seem to be that we could get it done really early (already agreed as an option according to some reports) and could therefore get him in for the full pre-season. He's also a totally known quantity so no concerns that he might not fit or might disrupt the squad.
Thought he improved a lot after our 2 week break before the Hull game and this was the first solid training block he'd had with the squad since he joined.
The Planning Applications for some of this stuff are going to have to go in soon. Likely to be an 8 week turnaround for the applications to be approved doesn't leave long to get some of it done.
