Thanks for a great day.. 11:00 - Jan 8 with 2139 viewsimpyyy

Posted a bit pre-game..

But I just want to say thanks to everyone from Ipswich, the day out was a success on and off it.. It really shows class to be applauded off by the opposition!!

The work DC & NC have done is unreal, and have really brought the ethic of Team Lincoln together again..

Can't wait to see Sincil Bank rocking again..(Oldham was rocking)

Come & have a friendly day out, lots of decent pubs in uphill Lincoln(beautiful place)

Best of luck for the season!

Congratulations on getting the replay and unlucky on not actually winning the tie. I have no doubt you will now go through unless we have a change of manager in the interim and we get that new manager bounce.

Your fans were a credit to the club and the players did not let you down something I wish I could say about my team.

Any idea how many tickets well get? Are they standing or sitting?

Cheers

And good effort bringing a load down. Good luck for the rest of the season (except our replay) :-)

Lincoln at the top is nice but it's smackhead heaven at the bottom of the hill.

A poor man's Lowestoft.

I'd say you will get the whole of the Stacey West which is around 2000..

It's seated, but Lincoln don't really care if you wanna stand up..

Also looking at the Ipswich 2nd.. I thought maybe a foul on Rhead??

What are your thoughts??

Glad you enjoyed your day, you Imps played brilliant and definitely the best away support i've ever seen at Portman Road.

We didn't deserve the draw but I have no doubt you'll progress past us in the replay.

I thought your support and fans were amazing yesterday. The passion they showed was unbelievable.

Well done to all of you!

Potentially but it was a strong tackle and Rhead had gone down a few times before so maybe the ref thought he was making the most out of that one.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I thought he was strong as an ox, but played the referee on occasion, at times looked like he was going down before he felt a touch. If the ref was consistent he probably would have given it, don't think he had a good game, to be fair.

Good luck for your season though, I can see you having us in the replay.

We probably haven't even scored a third of that

Didn't even notice it yesterday. Saw it on the highlights and looked a definite foul to me.

No doubt at all we were lucky to scrape a draw yesterday.

Apologies for being a cock pre-game. Your fans have very classy and modest since the game. All the best for the season and I take it back, I hope you do win the league even though it will ruin Rommers' bet. Meh, feck him.

Truly impaired.

Thanks for coming down... you and your fellow Imps were friendly and up for a good day out.

Plenty of them in the home pubs pre-match, but they didn't act like arses and were friendly, as were the ones I spoke to on the way back up to the station.

A pleasure to have you and see you at the replay. Shouldn't think we'll need all 2000 tickets in the away stand- plenty have given up on Mick, but that fact it will be a new ground for most will help swell the numbers.... at last a chance to go somewhere different - being stuck in the same division for 15 years doesn't give many such opportunities.

I now would be happy seeing anyone of Dagenham, Tranmere or Lincoln winning the league

Basically fook of Forest Green
