I quite enjoyed Saturday 09:47 - Jan 9 with 1311 viewsHeathlander

It was good to have an atmosphere back at Portman Road. Drowned out the moans of our lot. Sat in Churchman's near the Lincoln fans. Was like the old days with fans from either side pretending to want to fight each other after the game.

Four goals, lots of noise from the Lincoln boys. Not sure what you have to do to get thrown out these days but our Stewards were very lenient. Was quite a laugh.

More entertaining then most of what I have seen this season. I only went because it was a tenner and to have a look at the travelling support. Glad I did.

£12 here too, my boys first game.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Were there many Lincoln fans in the home ends in the end?

I saw an old dear in Churchmans with a Lincoln scarf on getting a telling off from a stewards after they scored their first.

I looked for her again in the second half and she wasn't there, so guess she got moved.

I thought there would be. But when they scored no one was cheering madly. So they were either very controlled or not there. There was one bloke escorted along the front of Churchmans with his Mr and put into the away bit but I couldn't see any others.

I quite enjoyed Saturday.

That may have been because I didn't go though.

Enjoyed the day out, but was less than happy with our football - first 15-20 of the second half was bad football all round.. We were "played off the pitch", but there was a lot of long balls from them too.

Anyone spot the away lad on the terrace who nearly slipped on the flag, realised he was being foolish and disappeared into the crowd when the stewards shuffled over to him?

Goals win games, but teams that grow together have the potential to become legends. Mainly found tweeting things, @Scribblr_42
