talk of a 2 minutes applause & light show in the 75/76th minute on Tuesday..

It would be absolutely great if you guys could join in and show the appreciation to arguably Lincolns greatest ever manager.

I'm very sure we can all empathise with you over the loss of your greatest ever manager.
RIP Graham Taylor.

75/76 because of the year Taylor led Lincoln to the Fourth Division title in 1976. his team's record was 32 wins, 4 defeats and 74 points were all league records (when 2 points were awarded for a win)

None of the famous deaths last year have made me feel numb like today's. I am sure that your commemorations will be heartfelt and emotional, particularly for those who witnessed that glorious season.

But I have to admit I do not understand the modern trend of doing all this during the game. I just don't get why paying your respects before kick-off and then enjoying the game isn't enough any more.

No offence meant. This is a general point rather than specific about Taylor, who was and remains one of the few figures in football that I genuinely admired and feel very lucky to have met.

I hadn't made the connection with Lincoln, but of course. Sad day for the Imps, I'm sure.
And I'm sure the Town fans in the ground will join in the tribute.
