if academy players, who are considered to be the best of their age group, don't progress into first team squad players, it doesn't give those that were not good enough for an academy much of a chance does it ?? |

It does seem strange he wasn't picked up before, but Yeovil saw enough to sign him (much like we did with BB, who arguably had a better background).
We shall see I suppose, but 24 is an odd age to sign someone if they aren't ready to go straight in.
Vardy took a year or two to get settled so we'll see, but it does seem a low-risk punt. | |
