Betting People - Â£5-Â£500 Challenge 15:08 - Jan 22 with 18665 views

Anyone up for this? We did a Â£10-Â£500 challenge on Betfair forums years ago and I was the first to complete it

although sadly I only posted my bets in advance and didn't actually place them so the profit was non existent. It's a cheap bit of fun and if anyone pulled it off it would be great.

Note to people waiting to pounce on losing challenges: It's very likely we won't complete it. It's possible we'll all lose bet 1 but it's a bit of fun not an investment.

Bet 1 for me: Smarkets Arsenal Â£5 @ 1.42 for Â£2.06 profit after commission or challenged gubbed

Not all bets will be odds on as that will guarantee failure.

Anyone else in?

I quietly dropped my challenge. It just doesn't suit my betting style. I'm more of an in play trader and posting 'I cashed out for £5 profit' makes me look like a liar.

Ha fair enough.

I think I had 3 fails, then £30 profit from this so I'm a little bit up (£15) but once I've completed or failed this challenge, that's probably my lot with this.

Absolutely buzzing for Cheltenham next week though
