Fair play, don't blame you both for not getting involved.
You have to be incredibly disciplined doing it if you want to make money. My plan is to just go on there & buy the promoted players for as cheap as possible & sell them when profit is around £55/60 & build it up that way.
There is literally no point in having less than 50 shares in a player, you won't make any decent money. | |

I use the App.
You have the 'squad list' on your screen & @13:00 you can buy shares in the 1st promoted player.
You literally click on the player, click buy (it'll already have 100 shares max* for you) then click 'confirm buy' & it's done.
*Or whatever your balance can afford.
Also you need the 'accept price change' button clicked. To save time you just need to do this once on any player at any time & you don't even have to buy a share, it'll just become a default setting. | |

Personally I wouldn't bother unless you do exactly what RIG says. To buy and hold seems a ridiculous strategy. You're buying imaginary shares and hoping someone will pay more for those imaginary shares tomorrow based on nothing. I bought shares in Mahrez which fell massively despite being linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Monaco. Some people are paying £7+ for imaginary shares in Griezmann. |

EDIT: Make sure you have 'accept price change' selected. Do this now before you buy as it takes too much time, just go on a random player, press buy & select 'accept price change', don't actually buy the player but this now becomes default & you'll never have to do it again. When you click on the player your screen will be going mental, don't get distracted by this.
Step 1 - Click player
2 - click buy (it'll buy you have maximum shares you can afford (up to 100)
3 - click confirm buy
Your screen will still be going mad at this point, once you've clicked confirm buy go onto your portfolio, which will also be going mad, & the the far right column will show how much profit you currently have in that player. I usually look to sell at the a profit of £50-60 thus making a profit of around £100. However some players, like Mendy today for example, are possibly worth keeping hold of for the long run. | |
