PROPER community football club........Everton have not only helped raise £250.000 for a homeless house for youngsters. They have previously treated the young Sunderland fan to a special day at Everton FC. They donated £200.000 to the "Bradley Lowery Fund" and have now organized a charity celebrity football match to raise even more funds. They also hold street parties, fun days and support many charities in Liverpool. On top of this all members of Everton FC staff are encouraged to have this charitable mind-set. Then all we get at Ipswich is the local paper trying to convince us the club is getting closer to the fans ? ITFC staff and owner could certainly do a lot more for this town !!!!!

With the greatest of respect, do you have any idea what the club actually does in the community?

Umm, take a look at our shirt... http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town-fc-to-carry-name-of-charity-each Why can't we just say "That's fantastic, Everton" without needing to slag someone else off?

Because some people are barmy melts that have to find any way they can to slag the club off. They're often weirdly hoping for something to happen at some point in the future but when presented with things in the present they ignore it or pretend it doesn't count for some reason.

Why would our club shirts prominently displaying a well-regarded local charity be worthy of such dismissal? The only reason I could think of is if you were some kind of green-crayon clutching loon desperate for absolutely everything to beat the club over the head with and determined to ignore things that actively undermine their ramblings?
