So, genuine question. 14:58 - Sep 14 with 699 viewsCheltenham_Blue

This is a state funeral. The last state funeral was Winston Churchill.

What was it that Diana, The Queen Mum and Prince Phillip had then?
What is the difference with this one? Is it basically the same, but just called something different?

...sovereign.

Churchill was the exception.

The others have ceremonial funerals, which are similar but aren't voted for by Parliament.

In essence, yes basically the same.

Enduringly lovable, intelligent and thunderingly exquisite.

Not 100% sure of exact details but there is a greater military involvement in a state funeral, which is organised by the Earl Marshal of England AKA Duke Norfolk (who lives in Sussex at Arundel castle)

Ceremonial funerals such as Di & Phil are very slightly downgraded

And apparently as Earl Marshal he has the Lord High Constable of England above him, and the Lord High Admiral of the United Kingdom beneath him.

I'm sure you'll make something of that as Master of the King's Innuendo.

Don’t Anna and Elsa live at Arundel Castle? Or did they Let it Go?
