Even goals against us. Still one of the best goals I've ever seen.

As soon as I saw the headline, I thought you was refereeing to Leighton Baines’ screamer against us.

Brazil's 4th vs Italy in 1970 pushes a Roger Osbourne one quite close.

I was there, in the West stand, when he got that. Class player. Doubt he'd enjoy the modern game though.

Totally agree with that. Best I've seen since Emylyn Hughes' screamer.

That was a fluke. Ruined a lovely day.

Eders goal against the USSR in 1982 usually makes me have to visit the small room for a while.

Forward by Venus, brought down beautifully by Naylor flicks it out for Clapham…Stewart with the header 3-1!!!

Or Venus flicked on by Johnson to Magilton!!! In the Bolton play off semi. Gets me every time.

Love the Arsenal goal but still the one I remember/ love is the Gerrard slip leading to the Demba Ba goal, I dropped my beer laughing so much.

The best goals I can recall seeing against us were at Villa Park in the same match. Dean Saunders from near halfway and Dalian Atkinson with a break from our corner, 2 or 3 passes to the back of the net.

EDIT: Maybe not the halfway line then!

Can't find the second goal on its own but it is the 3rd one (goal number 8) on this clip around 25 seconds in.

I was in Magnus lower tier. About 15 at the time. Was on the pitch about 30 seconds later!

29 years ago this happened. Oh how we laughed. Especially as it was in injury time. (on 7 minutes on the video).

For the opposition the Baines goal is the best I’ve seen at PR. For us, the third and winning goal takes some beating.

https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/21403526.clive-woods---towns-wing-wizard-notched-on

It won goal of the season that year. I was actually behind the goal for both of these.

Honourable mention for Yallop’s hammer job at Spurs. I had a good view of that too. Scenes in that away section.
