If Derby were to catch us then we are not catching either Wednesday or Plymouth so it makes little odds. We need to win enough matches to get ahead of one of the top two.

Pompey look like they are back on track, too. Could gate crash the play offs with those games in hand.... They have to play Plymouth (away) and Wednesday (home) aswell, on their journey... Long way to go til anything is set in stone for any of the top 6 places.

Blimey. I thought the TWTD branch of the Derby Fan Club folded when [redacted] got banned.

And Bolton played two thirds of their game with Ten men and still won…

As for Oxford battering Wycombe and still losing

Just got to keep winning

Was that the sending off where one player punches the defender in the stomach but the other player got the red card?

He probably would have stayed fit, had Marcus Evans bothered to invest in anything off-pitch...

Derby got some tough games coming up, away at Wycombe, Barnsley, Oxford, Peterborough, Sheff Wed and of course an Apr 1st home game with us.

I thought McGoldrick's issue was partly down to living in Nottingham and travelling down? Though that might be a rumour on here that stuck in my mind without foundation.

It was Dion Charles that got sent off shortly after scoring. The bbc are reporting it as mistaken identity so suspect no ban for Charles (not sure about the other fella - I assume by appealing they will need to take the suspension for the player who was actually responsible)

Don't worry of them. Make sure that Skuse/Chambers brigade will never fold. Cos both of them gave everything for this club didn't they?

It's amazing how rattled you are by a couple of former Town players

Travelling was one of the reasons trotted out. But given how run down the club was, I can’t imagine injury and fitness management amounting to much more than an old fire bucket, sponge and a battered box of Smartprice plasters. DMs fitness after leaving the club says it all for me.

Oh well, back to the OP, who cares about Derby. Or the rest come to that. We just need to focus on winning our games and seeing where it takes us. Great win last night. Just what we needed. I hope that is the start of a little bit of momentum, which we’ve been sorely lacking.

He was living in Nottingham but wasn't travelling every day as some implied. Had a flat here. Think part of the issue was that he was put straight back in as soon as he was fit every time and then largely started every game, which I'm sure wouldn't have been what the medical staff would have advocated. Sheffield United treated him with kid gloves when he went there, 60 minutes on Saturday, 30 in the week usually.
