I usually support the lad, but aftertiming isn't a good look.

He referenced all 3 horses in his preview to be fair. He does a guide for us all when he doesn’t have to and anyone who has followed them will be up money so far this week so not sure I understand the criticism for not detailing every single bet he puts on.

Tbf, it sounds like he only had £1 on it, so could've just been 1 of about 10 speccy tricasts he did.

He's also a proper racing fan, not a jump on the bandwagon for Cheltenham fan like most of us (not you Ryorry) and it's no secret he takes ante post bets etc throughout the year.

My comment was certainly tongue in cheek! Rommy bets on Cheltenham all year round. He still could’ve mentioned what three horses for the trebs

It's a 66/1 winner. It's 11/1 placer. And you have to bet double so its 5.5/1. If you put money on all his tips you would be down.

It was a tricast in the boodles the result was: 1st Jazzy Matty 2nd Byker 3rd Risk Belle And Rommy's write up was: "Jazzy Matty look a a long-term plot and the cheekpieces will help him hugely as well as the crucial claim from jockey Michael Sullivan. Sir Allen beat BYKER (7/1) last time but the swing in the weights and the proper gallop they’ll go here should allow the latter to reverse that form. He’s a strong traveller and the pace of the race should let him come there better than most coming towards the final hurdle. If he sees his race out, he might prove best. The Naas race last time behind Sir Allen has produced three of the last four winners of this and both must be taken seriously. My second dart at the race goes to RISK BELLE (14/1) who came in for huge money at Leapardstown at the Dublin Festival. She came down that day when so well-supported and there is clearly juice in her mark of 127. She is fancied to run a huge race at a surprisingly big price."

Sorry wasn’t meant for you specifically. Had just seen a few comments which seemed very entitled regarding him not detailing all his bets which i thought was strange when he’s doing people a favour!

it's pathetic. And then people wonder why he doesn't post his write up - if i was him i wouldn't bother anymore - which would be a real shame because he does have very good knowledge of the horses. Why some people need to jump on these threads and make derogatory comments i've no idea. It happens every year and it's so tiresome.

There's been what, 14 races? 5.5/1 winner there if you want to look at it like that. Off the top of my head Energumene and Delta Work also won, as did his nap on day one. In the same race as Scaramanga he tipped Camprond EW (SP 20/1) and that finished third. Dinoblue also placed in the 16:50. You're going to need to show your working or wind your neck in.

Where's Rommy? on 23:18 - Mar 16 with 1132 views | The_Romford_Blue | Just seen this. All was well and I actually didn’t have a hangover. We were having major train trouble (the strikes) and so ended up paying £130 for an Uber. To which for whatever reason was causing problems posting the link. Today was a disappointing day. Am well up for the week but today was a shame. I do need Allegorie De Vassy and Galopin De Champs tomorrow for £8k. But even if all seven races lose I’ll end the week £2,100 up.

Was £1 tricasts for £60. Jazzy Matty (I’d backed him antepost but actually thought he was too short yesterday). Risk Belle Byker 2 others I did mention all three would run big races tbf in the preview

Just to say, 5 of the 7 races made a profit yesterday. One of which was an 80/1 winner. Edit - And even today in what was a disappointing day, I still threw in a 14/1 winner. [Post edited 16 Mar 2023 23:27]
