Last night 14:00 - Nov 2 with 1566 views | lunatic1988 | Was always going to come to a end, Ipswich reserves vs Fulham reserves and pretty obviously the Premier league side have the better second string. Great to get minutes in to the second string. Enjoyed the cup run, 3 extra games down here aswell. Memorable night against wolves. Loads of postives [Post edited 2 Nov 2023 14:01]

It was more a Ipswich B/B side and a mixed Fulham first and reserve side!! on 14:21 - Nov 2 with 1505 views | unstableblue | Knew some work colleague Fulham fans in the away end last night, they said 'a few reserves in the team' as compared to our B/B team By looking at Spurs and Ipswich selections the following started in both: T Castagne, C Ughelumba, S lukic, B Reid, A Pereira So thats 5 first teamers!! I’m going on there last league vs Brighton Sunday. 7 changes from that. They obviously made less changes then town but definetly left there strongest 6 players out Leno Robinson Ream Paulinha Willian Vinicius Never the less two weakened sides and it’s one of them things. League is main priority [Post edited 2 Nov 2023 14:28]

We had ZERO first teamers in the team, they had at least 4 'first teamers'.. But in reality you have 11 players then another pool of 4/5 close to the first.. and their starting 11 was pretty much drawn from that bar a few like Willian And again we played our B/B team Our first 11 Hladky Williams Wolf Burgess Davis Morsy Luongo Burns Chaplin Broadhead Hirst Our first team near starters: Clarke, Edmundson, Taylor, Harness, Ladapo

Last night on 14:55 - Nov 2 with 1377 views | _clive_baker_ | Yeah, decent revenue driver with Wolves and Fulham at home at 20 quid a ticket. Would've been nice to go through, but I don't suppose McKenna is going to lose too much sleep over it. With Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea etc left in, it's unlikely to have been one we were going to win, so I'm all for resting players for Saturday. There's a much bigger picture given where we are in the league. If we were 15th I would've had a different opinion on it, but we're not, and we've got arguably the best chance of promotion to the premier league as we've had in what, 20 years? You could maybe argue Mick's team in 2015 might've had with a bit more January investment. Either way we're perhaps 19 or 20 wins away from promotion in our remaining 33 games. Got to be very single minded about that and keep ticking them off. That could be 16 or 17 by 5pm next Saturday all being well. Eyes on the prize innit.

Castagne and Bassey aren't actual first teamers though, they're just playing at the moment because Fulham have injuries to Tete, Adarabioyo and Diop. Lukic isn't really a consistent starter either.

Someone on twitter said we need 17 more wins for promotion, very doable, it’s on.

Not if 6 of them come in the FA Cup, though.

Bit of a hard one to answer as we'll obviously draw some games. 17 and some draws is probably right. Low 90's should do it. It's always going to be 'the next 3' or 'the next 6' etc all season innit, but I do look at these next 6 as huge given the opposition, and then the run of games that follows it. If we've pushed over 45 points after 19 games then I'll start to get a stiffy. Can we take 12+ points from the next 6? Birmingham (A) Rotherham (A) Swansea (H) WBA (A) Millwall (H) Coventry (H)

That’s to reach 84 points which on average since 2004-5 season would get you automatic promotion. 17 wins, 10 losses and 5 draws. Sounds straightforward, right?!
