How easy/hard is it getting to and from Leeds station and Elland road??

Leeds Train Station is around a 40 minute walk to Elland Road so the best option will be either taking a taxi which will cost you around £8 or jumping on one of the shuttle buses that run directly to the stadium.

The shuttle buses cost £2.50 for a return ticket, and picks up from Sovereign Street. As you exit the station, cross the road and drop down a level of stairs to the street below. Turn right and cross the road again and you’ll see the buses waiting.

Shuttle buses are generally efficient to and from the station. Always taxis in the vicinity of the bus stops by the ground too.

Just to add to Mark’s excellent post… those are the directions from the front of the station.

If you leave from the rear exit, you’re much closer to buses - take the left door and cross the main road.

There is some building work going on at the front of the station which means the steps opposite the front entrance are closed, so this is a good suggestion. It's also better if walking.
