Roll call for Fabios fight Sunday. on 12:57 - Mar 31 by gtsb1966
Big weight difference. Hopefully Clarke is ponderous.
I only see this going one way .Clarke may have been a decent amateur but a massive difference between 3 rounds with headgear on to 12 rounds. Think wardley is to heavy handed over in 7 or 8 rounds.

The fact we are even talking about a mid-carder just shows what a talent he is.
I enjoy the showmanship, it's fascinating.
It was really good. Some decent respect shown as well at the end.
Whittaker won every round there but was wondering if a sucker punch from the other guy was there. I remember Herol Bomber Graham dominating a fight like that once and getting knocked clean off his feet many years ago.

I still haven't got over that fight.
Herol Graham, Kirkland Laing and Eubank...........The best by far!

There's another one I remember from mid to late 80s (I used to watch a lot of it back then) where one guy was taking an absolute pummeling and a left hook clean knocked the other out. I want to say Errol Christie, or maybe Honeyghan. Think it was one of those BBC late ones on a Saturday night.
For those who don't know it isn't PPV or obscure channel- if you have Sky Sports then it is on Sky Sports Main Event (old Sky Sports One) as well as Sky Sports Boxing channel.

Mmmm.
Don't think it was Errol Christie who unfortunately died a few years back.
I vaguely remember a Welsh fighter in the early 80's who was sucker punched in two world title fights after having big leads
But I can't put my finger on it.

It's also on Sky Showcase (the old Sky One) which many people might have even if they don't have a sports subscription.

Not sure. It would have been around August time as I can remember watching it from a chalet in Hemsby/Corton or similar. Pretty sure it was a Brit fighting in the States and it was seen as a shock at the time. May have to youtube some stuff after Fab's win.

That sounds like Lloyd Honeyghan v Don "the cobra" Curry. September 86.
