Seen and heard a lot of "why don't we just clip it up to Hirst rather than play it short, that seems to work when we do that".
It's because we mix it up that allows that ball to Hirst to work so well. Also playing short means the opposition especially a high pressing Hull press and leave a lot of space further up the pitch. If we just went long every time the opposition would just fill the midfield and stop the long ball.
If only we had a quality manager that knew better than our fans hey...
