I don't think anyone would be interested in them if they didn't play for Norwich. Especially Sargent. Good player but doubt he is someone we would want. |  |

It's not impossible for us to go in for Norwich players, but it would be a lot of baggage and therefore they would have to be extra special and would probably have to have played in Germany before. ,

Sergeant is a decent championship striker, no more no less.

Oh, I don’t know. If they sold them to us for a pittance in the same way Charlton robbed us after relegation (never forgiven - god how I enjoyed the 6-0 retribution and their wallowing in L1 this season), I could live with it. Just to see the PinkUn response.
I think Sara, Sargent and Rowe are good players. Make good squad fillers if nothing else, or we could loan them to a Norwich Championship rival. [Post edited 6 May 10:12]

Sargent fits our style of play, but would be second fiddle to Hirst, and third choice at best if we got in another £15m striker. Then Al-Hamadi has the qualities and determination to develop very quickly here and become a contender, so I'd say even Sargent is a non-runner. Also seems a little injury prone.

Sargent was bang average in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen.
He was ineffective with Norwich in the Prem.
As others have said, he is a Championship striker at best and wouldn’t improve us.
He scored on his debut for Werder with his first touch and was immediately hyped up (think Sears at West Ham) but has never ever lived up to that. | | | |
