If Norwich don’t go up… 09:19 - May 6 with 1194 views | Blueastheycome | Which players do you fancy us going for? I can see Sargent and Sara both wanting to make a step up to a bigger club and norwich will need the monies with their parachute payments concluding. [Post edited 6 May 11:05]

If Norwich don’t go up… on 09:24 - May 6 with 1140 views | J2BLUE | I don't think anyone would be interested in them if they didn't play for Norwich. Especially Sargent. Good player but doubt he is someone we would want.

If Norwich don’t go up… on 09:34 - May 6 with 1059 views | Europablue | It's not impossible for us to go in for Norwich players, but it would be a lot of baggage and therefore they would have to be extra special and would probably have to have played in Germany before. , Borja Sainz looked good against us, and Sargent is class. I wouldn't complain if KM wanted them.

Sergeant is a decent championship striker, no more no less. To think he was more interested in faking a foul by Morsey rather than having the confidence to go on and score sums him up in my view.

Oh, I don’t know. If they sold them to us for a pittance in the same way Charlton robbed us after relegation (never forgiven - god how I enjoyed the 6-0 retribution and their wallowing in L1 this season), I could live with it. Just to see the PinkUn response. I think Sara, Sargent and Rowe are good players. Make good squad fillers if nothing else, or we could loan them to a Norwich Championship rival. If Norwich don’t go up… on 10:29 - May 6 with 663 views | NthQldITFC | Sargent fits our style of play, but would be second fiddle to Hirst, and third choice at best if we got in another £15m striker. Then Al-Hamadi has the qualities and determination to develop very quickly here and become a contender, so I'd say even Sargent is a non-runner. Also seems a little injury prone. None of the others.

If Norwich don’t go up… on 11:03 - May 6 with 560 views | ArnoldMoorhen | The only Norwich players I would like to sign would be players who are out of contract, who they are desperate to give a new contract to, on a free. To initiate a different kind of Banter Era.
If Norwich don’t go up… on 11:05 - May 6 with 545 views | tractorshark | Sargent was bang average in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen. He was ineffective with Norwich in the Prem. As others have said, he is a Championship striker at best and wouldn’t improve us. He scored on his debut for Werder with his first touch and was immediately hyped up (think Sears at West Ham) but has never ever lived up to that.
