We took our kids there when they were about the same age and they loved it. Be careful if you go to the main square in Pisa though - the pickpockets love parents distracted by young kids. I had my phone stolen there. But apart form that we had a fantastic time - Tuscany is fantastic. |  |

Cheers for the heads up. TBH we're flying to Pisa at it was way cheaper, but collecting the car at the airport and likely getting straight out into la Toscana. I don't intend on going into the city, I've been a couple of times before and thought it was a right sh1t hole for the most part. If we've got some time on the way back I might swing by the leaning tower but that'll be it. I'm sure i'm doing Pisa an injustice but found it a horrible place last time I went.
Absolutely love Tuscany as a region though, I'd much rather mooch around Volterra or San Gimignano or the Tuscan countryside personally. Find a nice agritourismo and chill with a beer while my wife takes my daughter off to ride a horse or something. Lovely. | | | |

The crazy thing about the wedding location is that they chose it because it is a remote farmhouse that's self sufficient. They are kind of echo warriors. Think they forgot that 55 of us have to catch a flight and hire cars to attend. Kind of defeats the object, but hay-ho. | | | |
