McKenna will take time to consider his options 10:42 - May 22 with 645 viewsTractorCam

Him not saying "I'm going to stay next season" in an interview with Sky Sports doesn't mean he won't be. It also doesn't mean he will be.

We don't know yet, the man will have discussions with all these clubs and then make his mind up. Until then it's not worth fannying around about.

Poll: An interesting day for our politicians, but which one is worse?

We're all extremely hopeful that McKenna stays but are begrudgingly looking at the alternatives.

There's a lot of talk of taking an overachieving Championship/League One manager - Liam Rosenior is often mentioned - but wouldn't it be wise to now opt for experience? Hiring unproven talent worked with McKenna, and we have taken a team of originally League One players to the Premier League, but the step up from EFL to Premier League is huge.

We need those with little black contact books to attract talent. Those with experience to prepare mentally as much as tactically/physically/data etc will be just as important. We can complement McKenna's tactical legacy with Premier League expertise.

We have the platform, and are now attractive enough, to gain talent from the next tier up. Let's use this.
