Coffee break; time saving summary of morning posts on the forum 11:47 - Oct 30 with 846 viewsBlueBoots

In amongst various threads speculating on the future of our esteemed manager, and others discussing how awful the owners up the road are, this morning we have:

a) Thread about advice on coffee machines...just enjoying a very nice coffee myself made with a 10 quid cafetiere and a 1 quid IKEA frother for the milk.

b) Non-coffee drinkers can get / share advice on house buying, house/pet sitting, care services, heat pumps, and train travel to Ipswich for midweek games if you're a Londoner.

c) Happy Birthday Pacman (Gav showing the little fella some love, despite the fact he wears a scum kit to do his ghost chomping - Pacman, not Gav)

d) Someone has dredged up an 8 month old thread to say "I told you so" about Liam Delap's attitude after his sending off last night.

e) Current score on Darkhorse's ban thread is 55 yes to 10 no and 6 pages after 2 days

f) Darkhorse has come out to defend himself by posting a thread of his own, which includes more of of the customary owner, Ashton and KMcK bashing, including the comment: "You can’t leverage so much investment, deliver so little with it, and still be a young manager needing patience, sadly, that’s not how football works today." Someone needs to tell him we're Ipswich Town, and football still works that way at this club; we've nearly always been patient with our managers.

g) onceablue has started one of his Daily Mail headline brainfart rant threads about Rachel Reeves coming unstuck after trusting a letting agent to do their fkin job properly

h) Thread about classic films - won't be getting involved, as I've genuinely seen every classic film (try me )

And yes (before anyone says it), it has been a slow morning for work...

Love this! A great use of your quiet morning.

I think this should now become a regular feature at the end of every day.

Admin, please make it happen!

Clearly not. If they did the post would be unreadable through a blizzard of ads and clickbait.

Honoured to make the round-up, but dredged is a bit harsh!

I think it’s a pretty topical and relevant discussion of our former player [and future transfer target].

Fair enough...I'll save the word dredged for resurrected posts that are over a year old in future

OK...you got me... Having checked my IMDb ratings, that one is missing, but City Slickers got an 8/10 from me (reserved for films that I enjoy, and would watch again)

Excellent idea, but it doesn't reference the best thread which is that thread which summarises all of the other threads, and makes it quicker to read and digest the forum.

So, TWTDers observe; a flea,
hath smaller fleas, which on him pray,
and these have smaller still to bite 'em,
and so proceed, ad infinitum.
