Frustrating and annoying derby day 14:16 - Feb 26 with 977 views

Positives:
- Knudsen of all people has taken up Haynes's long-forgotten mantle
- Spence, Ward and McGoldrick were excellent
- We generally showed the grit and effort like Mick's early days had
- Bart made some class saves

Negatives:
- We defended set pieces poorly
- Poor old Bart made a blunder
- A lack of effectiveness up front. Sears drifts wide and McGoldrick goes deep, they do not work as a pair and consequentially we did not have enough up front at the important moments in the game
- How long is it since we beat those scumbags now?

The most frustrating thing of all is fr a few short minutes I believed we were going to do it. It is incredibly annoying that feeling was cut short

IMO Spence was really shaky first half...improved after the break. MOTM Didzy. Ward was good today.
Not sure how you can say we defended set pieces poorly....did they score from one....no. 14 corners faced and not conceded from.

More down to their poor finishing than our defensive prowess if we are being honest!

Howson was unmarked for the first two - thought we defended the corners better, when Smith came on.
