However there is literally no benefit whatsoever to anyone associated with ITFC besides Evans saving having to pay two managers at once which he won’t anyhow. It would be easy to pay Mick what he is owed now and have a Lee, Dyer, Klug or anyone else at the club take over, for the pleasure rather than any additional pay. Just to give the fans something to look forward to and prevent Mick from making the relationship even worse. If we’ve got an out of work manager lined up they should get the last few games to see what they can do. I just can’t see any benefit to Mick, the players themselves or the fans or Evans from this dragging on now. Mick is acting like he’d rather be paid off and go in my view. But I cannot see Evans doing anything other than letting Mick leave when the contract is up and not before. Really strange situation to continue allowing to happen. |  |
