And yet the Premier League soon slap down the Football League when the FL dare to ask for any more than the meagre "solidarity payments" they currently give.


I do wonder if a time is coming when EFL clubs abandon the current model and strike it out alone, offering there own bespoke TV deal to fans ( much like what we did with reserve team games being streamed on facebook ) that could also cover away matches if they strike a deal with other clubs.
