Much preferred not knowing how much extra time would be played. At times the game would finish bang on 4:45 other times it would go beyond 5:00. Seemed to have no relation to number of stoppages and nobody had a clue how long was left.

Full-times would appear from 4.40 on the vidiprinter. Anything beyond 4.50 at the classifieds was considered a late kick-off.
