I agree with you. My wife voted to remain based on the lies regarding falling house prices, punishment budgets, 2016 recessions, record unemployment and world war 3.

At the same time she was intelligent enough to realise that the amount used on the Brexit Bus was the gross figure, rather than net, and that it was an aspiration rather than a commitment.

Nigel Farage, who you may recall was a major figure in the Brexit campaign, rubbished this figure constantly. I really don't think those in the North or outside Tory strong areas really listened to much Boris & his team had to say.
