Looking a bumper home crowd at Memorial Ground tonight, Barton and team.. 11:46 - Apr 18 with 872 viewsunstableblue

… seem to be dropping into some form
And enjoying pitting themselves against the promotion teams.. a hard fought 1-1 with time wasting Derby last time out

Think we played them at the worst time, trying to address a string of poor results and they went very deep and hard to breakdown

It did make McKenna I think go back to the drawing board and also accelerate getting Luongo into the team

Poll: How many points will Town get from 5 (Wat, Boro, Hull, Cov, Hudd)?

Would have rather played them when we did as opposed to now.

Although the best outcome would be for the Gas and Wednesday to swap managers before the game so that both Barton and Wednesday can end up on the losing side...

Poll: What was in Wes Burns' imaginary cup of tea ?

Sheffield Wednesday cut a side very short on confidence, and as we know Bristol Rovers can be a tough nut to crack. I think the first half an hour will dictate the tone, Wednesday are fragile, the Gas heads can been very vocal when they want to be. If Rovers get their noses in front it could be very difficult for the Owls.

Against us they did go deep in the 2nd half but still showed some attacking intent, they actually had the best chance of the game when Sinclair hit the post. Mad to think that result left us in 4th, 2 points below Bolton with the same goal difference. 10 games later we're 14 points ahead of them and +30 GD on them. Ridiculous really.

Poll: Will Boris Johnson be PM this time next week?

Think SW will always have a threat with Bannans delivery into the box. But there defence looks shot atm. And , not sure if Moore is still going with Stockdale in goal? But he's looked very shaky and spilled a few lately... If they go behind, could be a long night for them.
Huge amount of pressure on them for this one.
